These buns are easy to make, light, fluffy, and delicious! You can fill them according to your taste, adding vegetables, cheese… you can serve them with a salad or soup for an evening meal, and they'll also grace your iftar table during this month of Ramadan…

Mix together the flour, powdered milk, baking powder, sugar, yeast, and milk. Knead well and let rise until the dough has doubled in volume.

In a pan, melt the butter, add the chopped onion, and stir over the heat until the onion becomes translucent. Add the red bell pepper, the crumbled meat, and the spices.

Continue stirring over medium heat until the meat is cooked. Add the chopped parsley and remove from the heat to let cool.

Once the dough has risen, divide it into 8 portions and shape them into balls. Roll out each ball on a floured work surface, place 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center, and seal the dough to form a ball. Flatten the loaves slightly by hand, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and let them rest for 10 to 15 minutes.

Brush the loaves with milk and bake them at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes.

Take the buns out of the oven, put grated cheese and parsley on top and put them back in the oven until the cheese melts.

Serve hot or warm.
